In my role as a lead producer, I announce the establishment of the first "SCOPE5" Film Lab for the film industry in Iraq, with the aim of supporting and developing the post-production stages in the country's promising film industry. This announcement is an important step towards strengthening the film sector in Iraq, as the "SCOPE5" laboratory contributes to providing an advanced and sophisticated environment for artists and film creators to develop their work and excel in the post-production stages. The laboratory uses modern technologies and advanced equipment to stimulate creativity and ensure high quality in film works.
Through the "SCOPE5" Film Lab, directors and producers will have the opportunity to benefit from a wide range of services that include video editing, visual effects, sound design and Dolby Atmos mixing, advanced lighting and color correction, DCP cinematic display technology, and other leading services in the film industry. This initiative reflects [Scope 5 ]'s commitment to enhancing the creative capabilities of professionals in the film industry in Iraq, and providing effective support to develop and improve their film projects. The launch of the "SCOPE5" lab comes within the framework of our ongoing efforts to promote art and culture in Iraq, and support creators in achieving their highest potential. Expectations indicate that this lab will be greatly appreciated by artists and film producers in Iraq, and will contribute significantly to raising the quality of film production.
(The name of this lab comes from the fact that the history of Iraq has passed through four civilizations that influenced human development, and we hope in the future that the scope will extend to a fifth civilization).
We hope to announce early next year a group of Iraqi films, including narratives and documentaries, that have completed the services of "Post Production" in this lab..
