Scope 5 Studio-Film lab is delighted to announce the launch of the “Scope5 Post-Production Award”, a prize dedicated to supporting Iraqi short narrative films in progress. The award will be presented as part of Baghdad Industry Days, held within the framework of the Baghdad International Film Festival (September 17–20, 2025).

Valued at 7,000,000 IQD, the award is offered as a comprehensive package of post-production services, covering all technical and creative stages required to complete the winning project,

Through this award, we aim to empower emerging filmmakers, support their creative projects from concept to final cut, and elevate the standards of professionalism in Iraqi cinema.

Launched in collaboration with the Cinema Support Initiative, the award is open to filmmakers with scripts or projects in early stages of development, giving them an opportunity to complete their work to a professional standard with the support of Scope 5 Studio’s facilities and expertise.

Scope5FilmLab is pleased to take part in “Baghdad Industry Days”, held within the 2nd Baghdad International Film Festival (September 17–20, 2025). This participation reflects our commitment to supporting the growth of a professional film industry in Iraq.

Our focus is on fostering collaboration with filmmakers and sharing our expertise in post-production, aiming to connect Iraqi projects with opportunities for financing, co-production, and distribution, and to help them reach regional and international markets
